Per Diem Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) Wanted - Weekdays
Job Description
Pay: $55–$60 per hour, based on experience
Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
Schedule: Per diem/part-time with consistent Monday–Friday business-hour availability
Assured Quality Homecare (ASQ) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide clinical leadership and oversight for private-duty home care clients throughout Rhode Island.
This position is designed for a weekday clinical professional. Admissions, assessments, medical appointments, and provider collaboration primarily occur during regular business hours. This is not a night- or weekend-focused per diem role.
Your RoleAs a Per Diem Private Duty RN, you will guide clients through the most important parts of their care journey—from the initial assessment to ongoing clinical oversight.
Conduct in-home assessments, admissions, and client intakes
Develop, review, and update individualized care plans
Supervise CNAs and provide client-specific instruction
Collaborate with physicians, families, hospitals, and other providers
Accompany clients to medical appointments when needed
Support hospital discharges and safe transitions home
Provide medication management, wound care, and other skilled nursing services
Document clinical updates accurately and communicate concerns promptly

QualificationsActive, unrestricted Rhode Island RN license
Current CPR certification
Five or more years of RN experience
Five or more years of care planning, case management, or patient-navigation experience
Experience in home care, rehabilitation, long-term care, assisted living, hospice, or a related setting preferred
Consistent weekday business-hour availability
Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
Ability to travel throughout Providence, Kent, and Washington counties
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with client mobility when required
