We are a leading Property Management company in Central Pennsylvania; and due to our continued growth are seeking a skilled Renovation/Construction Technician to join our Home Services Team, specializing in apartment and townhome renovations.

This position focuses primarily on drywall repair, installation, and finishing within occupied and vacant apartment homes throughout Lancaster County. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Responsibilities:

  • Perform renovation work in vacant apartment and townhome units, with a primary focus on bathroom and kitchen replacements
  • Remove and replace drywall, backing, and substrates related to kitchen and bathroom remodels
  • Install, repair, tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall to prepare units for paint and final turnover
  • Assist with demolition and preparation work, including removal of cabinets, vanities, fixtures, flooring, and wall finishes as needed
  • Installation of new cabinets, vanities, appliances, plumbing, electrical and finishes
  • Repair and modify walls and ceilings to accommodate new layouts, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical updates
  • Complete punch-list items to ensure renovated units meet company quality standards and are move-in ready
  • Identify and report any structural concerns, water damage, mold conditions, or code-related issues discovered during renovations
  • Follow renovation schedules and work orders to meet unit turnover deadlines
  • Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, ladders, and renovation equipment
  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Maintain tools, materials, and a clean, organized work area throughout the renovation process
  • Accurately complete daily work documentation, time tracking, and material usage reports
  • Load, transport, stage, and properly store renovation materials and equipment
  • Assist with other renovation, construction, or unit turn-related duties as assigned to support the Home Services Team

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • 2–5 years of construction experience, preferably in apartment or residential renovations
  • Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge
  • Strong skills in drywall hanging, finishing, and repair
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company motor vehicle requirements
  • Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
