Key Responsibilities• Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Reviews and documents daily in the communication log as appropriate.
• Reviews new orders and MAR as directed.
• Supervises and reviews the transcription process, medication and equipment ordering, pharmacy cycle fill.
• Performs communication with outside agencies and medical providers.
• Reviews alert charting as directed.
• Reviews incident reports as needed and completes investigations.
• Reviews cleanliness and organization of medication room.
• Reviews, supervises and assists with resident care as needed.
• Performs medication pass as needed.
Qualifications & Skills• Ability to utilize and apply basic management skills.
• Maintains adequate attendance record, notifies supervisor if late or unable to work in accordance with personnel policies.
• Requires minimal supervision, is a self-starter and flexible.
• Organizes and utilizes time appropriately, sets priorities and accomplishes assigned tasks.
• Displays mature behavior in attitude, speech and action.
• Keeps resident information confidential, respects resident’s rights, respects privacy and the right to self-determination by the residents.
• Works cooperatively with supervisors and co-workers.
