We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Manager to join our skilled nursing facility. This role is essential in ensuring our residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals while maintaining compliance with all dietary regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the dietary department

• Plan, develop, and manage menus that meet residents’ nutritional needs and physician orders

• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations

• Supervise, train, and schedule dietary staff

• Monitor food preparation, portion control, and meal service

• Maintain proper sanitation, safety, and infection control standards

• Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident care

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in dietary services, preferably in long-term care or healthcare

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

• Strong knowledge of nutrition, food safety, and regulatory standards

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment

• ServSafe certification preferred
