Job Description
We are actively seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) to lead daily operations and drive high-quality, resident-centered care at a long-term care facility in Northeastern Nebraska. The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) oversees all aspects of facility performance, including clinical oversight, staff leadership, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and operational results.
As a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (NHA), you will provide strategic leadership, support department managers, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture focused on quality, accountability, teamwork, and exceptional resident care.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the facility as the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (NHA)
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing long-term care operations
Lead, mentor, and support department directors and management staff
Foster a culture of quality care, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Oversee budgets, staffing, census development, financial performance, and operational goals
Maintain survey readiness and serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies
Build positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, hospitals, and community partners
Develop and implement policies and procedures that improve resident outcomes and operational efficiency
Promote resident rights, safety, satisfaction, and exceptional customer service
Collaborate with leadership teams to achieve strategic goals and ensure organizational success
Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain a strong culture of regulatory compliance
Ensure the facility consistently delivers safe, compassionate, and resident-centered care
Qualifications
Current Nursing Home Administrator license required, with eligibility for Nebraska licensure as outlined below
Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting preferred
Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state licensing requirements, and survey readiness
Proven experience leading teams, managing budgets, and achieving operational goals
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to build strong relationships with employees, residents, families, and healthcare partners
Commitment to delivering exceptional resident-centered care and fostering a positive workplace culture
Licensure Requirement
An active Nebraska Nursing Home Administrator license is required before the successful candidate begins employment in the administrator position. Candidates who currently hold an active, unrestricted Nursing Home Administrator license in another U.S. jurisdiction may be considered if they are eligible for Nebraska licensure by reciprocity and obtain their Nebraska license before the agreed-upon start date. Any offer of employment will be contingent upon verification of an active Nebraska license through the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
