As a Dietary Cook, you will play a vital role in our culinary team, preparing high-quality meals that meet the dietary and nutritional requirements of our residents.

Dietary Cook Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines

• Adhere to residents' dietary restrictions, preferences, and special requests

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations

• Assist in planning menus and food preparation schedules

• Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to the supervisor

• Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure timely and accurate meal service

• Maintain records of food preparation, temperatures, and waste as required

Dietary Cook Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Dietary Cook in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred

• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and dietary requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to resident satisfaction

• Certification in Food Safety or ServSafe preferred (or willingness to obtain)
