Parts Clerk — Parts & Inventory Control
Kinston, NC • Full-Time • $16.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience

As our Parts Clerk, you'll help ensure that parts and supplies are stored and maintained properly and that adequate quantities are available to maintenance personnel — supporting the safe operation and continued airworthiness of the MAC fleet.
- Follow and help uphold the safety policies and procedures outlined in company manuals, and demonstrate a daily commitment to continuous safety improvement.
- Make sure requested parts and supplies are provided in a timely manner and meet the criteria for continued airworthiness, including coordinating with Maintenance Control to move parts between MAC stations as needed.
- Support compliance with the company's Shelf Life Program for parts and supplies, and the Tool and Test Equipment Calibration Program.
- Support compliance with FAA requirements related to Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUPS).
- Process shipping and receiving for ATR and Cessna 208 fleet parts.
- Create and process purchase orders and repair orders.
- Serve as the primary Hazardous Materials (Haz Mat) shipper for air and ground shipments, including maintaining required Haz Mat shipping documentation for FAA review.
- Assist other stations with Haz Mat shipping questions and help complete documentation before shipments are tendered to FedEx.
- Coordinate counter-to-counter courier shipments to deliver AOG (Aircraft on Ground) parts to MAC stations or the current location of MAC aircraft.
- Travel to MAC line stations to perform physical inventories, research and reconcile discrepancies, and report findings to FedEx.
- Manage inventory control for the Heavy Maintenance Facility, issuing parts and quantities with the correct codes for billing and reporting.
- Help prepare parts reports for internal departments and the customer as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Detail-oriented, with basic Excel and Word skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Prior aviation, parts handling, or inventory control experience is a plus, but not required.
- Must complete a course and obtain Haz Mat Shipping Certification (training provided).
- Ability to travel to offsite locations as needed; must be reachable by phone during off-duty hours.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle/package parts.
- Some overtime and weekend work as scheduled to meet mission requirements.
- Work is typically performed in an office and/or parts room / hangar environment; travel may involve exposure to noise, chemicals, adverse temperatures, and similar conditions.
$16.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience.
