Key Qualifications:
- Active California SLP License is essential
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous school-based and SEIS experience highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel between school sites as part of an itinerant assignment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop individualized goals and intervention plans tailored to each student’s strengths and challenges
- Deliver direct therapy services to elementary-aged students in both individual and group settings
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of services and progress notes
- Adapt to varying school environments while fostering positive learning experiences at each site
