Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with early childhood students in a supportive, collaborative school environment near Eaton, Colorado. This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with a diverse student population, delivering essential speech services and mentoring an SLPA within a dynamic academic community.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) state license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid educator certificate meeting state requirements
  • Experience in a school-based SLP setting, specifically with early childhood caseloads
  • Strong ability to supervise and support Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
  • Preference for fully in-person service delivery, but open to candidates able to provide supervision in a hybrid (minimum three days per week onsite) schedule

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive, in-person speech and language services to early childhood students
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 50-55 students, ensuring individualized and high-quality intervention
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Supervise and mentor an assigned SLPA, ensuring compliance and quality of service
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and state guidelines
