Middle and High School Speech-Language Pathologist

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based contract position in Bonsall, California. This assignment will support students at the middle and high school levels and is expected to run from ASAP through December, with the possibility of an extension. The SLP will also provide supervision to an SLPA and collaborate with school staff to support student communication needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services to middle and high school students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
  • Supervise and provide clinical guidance to an SLPA.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other members of the educational team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state requirements.

Qualifications

  • California Speech-Language Pathologist License or appropriate state credential.
  • ASHA certification preferred.
  • Ability to provide appropriate supervision to an SLPA.

Experience

  • Previous school-based experience preferred.
  • Experience working with middle and high school students is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective clinical judgment and documentation skills.
