What We're Looking For:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license, with credentials to practice in New Hampshire
- Experience in school-based settings, including conducting comprehensive evaluations and participating in IEP team processes
- Proven abilities in supervising SLPAs and understanding of Medicaid documentation for paraeducators (as relevant to the supervisory role)
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively with educators, paraeducators, students, and families
- Commitment to ethical, high-quality service delivery and ongoing professional growth
Your Responsibilities:
- For the full-time position, conduct speech and language assessments and provide therapy as part of the school’s special education services
- For the supervisory part-time role, oversee up to two SLPAs (2.0 FTE) and ensure clinical compliance while allocating up to 20 service hours per month
- Participate in IEP development and review meetings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Supervise and review paraeducator roles related to Medicaid-reimbursable supports
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and deliver additional speech services as needed within the designated hours
These on-site positions offer a rewarding way to directly impact student achievement. For part-time SLPs, travel reimbursement at the IRS mileage rate is provided for trips to and from Claremont schools.
