A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for an onsite contract position serving students with diverse communication needs. You'll collaborate with a caring team to deliver high-quality therapy, empowering each student to achieve their goals in an engaging setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State SLP license and NY Education Certification required
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and tailor interventions to individual student needs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEPs and established goals
  • Conduct up to 40 sessions per week (30 minutes each), ensuring documentation and compliance with legal and ethical standards
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress toward therapy objectives
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social success
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to educational planning for students
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to district, state, and federal guidelines
