Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Nevada
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also considered
  • Background or strong interest in pediatric speech therapy, especially within school environments
  • Experience with diverse K-12 student populations, including students with communication disorders
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to a dynamic K-12 caseload across 35 hours weekly (5 days per week)
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Implement evidence-based therapy techniques tailored to students’ unique needs
  • Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and special education staff to maximize student support
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking as required by school district and federal guidelines
