This contract opportunity is based near Rochester, NY, focusing on a 3rd-grade caseload for the upcoming school year. With a 35-hour workweek running from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, you’ll have a structured schedule that allows you to utilize your specialized skills in a positive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active NY SLP License and TSSLD Certification required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in pediatric, school-based, or teletherapy settings is highly valued
  • Solid foundation in designing, implementing, and monitoring individualized education plans
  • Familiarity with effective methods for collaboration in diverse multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and compassionate care for elementary-aged children

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to a 3rd-grade student caseload
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication needs
  • Monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and maintain complete documentation
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success in both academic and social settings
  • Stay current with professional best practices and compliance measures
