Construction Superintendent - Mission Critical (Data Center)

Construction Superintendent, Data Center | Glendale, AZ | Contract

PPG Staffing is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for a large-scale data center construction project in Glendale, Arizona with a leading national general contractor.

This is a contract opportunity supporting an active, fast-paced mission-critical construction site. We are looking for a strong field leader who can manage subcontractors, maintain schedule, drive safety and quality, and coordinate daily construction activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day field supervision for assigned areas of the project
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, field personnel, and site activities
• Monitor construction progress against the project schedule
• Lead daily planning and coordination meetings
• Ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with project specifications
• Identify and resolve field issues that could affect schedule or productivity
• Coordinate closely with project management, field engineering, safety, and quality teams
• Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation
• Support inspections, turnover, commissioning, and project closeout activities as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Construction Superintendent, Area Superintendent, or similar field leadership role
• Experience on large commercial, industrial, semiconductor, mission-critical, or data center projects strongly preferred
• Strong subcontractor and trade coordination experience
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, safety, and quality
• Comfortable working in a highly structured, fast-paced construction environment
• OSHA 30 preferred
• Data center experience is highly desirable, but strong candidates from other large-scale technical construction environments will be considered

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily field operations on large-scale industrial or mission-critical construction projects
• Coordinate and supervise all subcontractors and trades on site
• Drive project safety, quality, schedule, and production goals
• Lead daily coordination meetings and communicate effectively with project management and field teams
• Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and subcontractor work plans
• Identify and resolve field issues to maintain project progress
• Monitor project milestones and ensure work is completed according to schedule
• Coordinate inspections, turnover activities, and project closeout
• Maintain a strong safety culture and enforce site safety requirements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor
• Experience overseeing large, complex construction projects from the field
• Experience with GC overseeing all trades
• Experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors simultaneously
• Experience in one or more of the following environments:

• Data Centers
• Semiconductor Facilities
• Mission-Critical Facilities
• Clean Rooms
• Advanced Manufacturing
• Oil & Gas Facilities
• Industrial Processing Plants
• Power Generation Facilities
• Large Industrial Construction Projects

  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Chandler, Arizona
  • U.S. Citizenship required
