This position is onsite in SW Austin/Dripping Springs, TX. Candidates should be comfortable commuting to the worksite daily.

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced with inventory, stockroom operations, or warehouse support? Our client is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support inventory control, material handling, and kitting operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

As an Inventory Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring production teams receive the materials they need to stay on schedule and deliver quality products.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and stockroom organization.
  • Monitor and track inventory using an ERP system.
  • Pull job kits and material requests from the ERP system.
  • Gather, verify, and issue parts required for production orders.
  • Process inventory transactions accurately and timely.
  • Release completed kits to production teams.
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and efficient stockroom operations.
  • Support additional inventory and materials-related activities as needed.

  • ERP systems (Epicor experience is a plus)
  • Cycle counting and inventory audits
  • Production kitting


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience with computerized inventory systems preferred.
  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills required.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident due to ITAR-related requirements.


Schedule

This position follows a rotating schedule that includes:

  • Standard 8-hour workdays on alternating weeks
  • 10-hour workdays every other week
  • Overtime as needed to support business demands


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout a production facility.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to handle and count small components accurately.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to reach inventory stored at various heights.
