Project Coordinator - Dripping Springs, TX

$60,000-$65,000 Direct Hire | Full-Time


Our client, an innovative engineering and manufacturing organization in the Southwest Austin/Dripping Springs area, is seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to support program execution, production readiness, engineering changes, and material planning.


This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating across multiple teams, and has strong organizational, communication, and project management skills. The Project Coordinator serves as a key link between Program Management, Engineering, Purchasing, and Production to help ensure projects remain on schedule and materials, documentation, and resources are aligned for success.


What You'll Do

Project & Program Support

  • Support Program Managers throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate project activities across engineering, purchasing, and production teams.
  • Track project milestones and help ensure on-time delivery of program objectives.
  • Support internal and customer-facing project meetings.


Production & Material Readiness

  • Drive material readiness activities to support production schedules.
  • Coordinate ERP requirements to ensure materials and documentation are available when needed.
  • Conduct production readiness meetings and schedule reviews.
  • Support production teams in maintaining schedule adherence.


Engineering Change Management

  • Manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
  • Coordinate implementation of engineering revisions across departments.
  • Ensure drawing revisions are aligned with purchasing and production requirements.
  • Evaluate change impacts and communicate updates to stakeholders.


Documentation & Process Control

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
  • Monitor project status and identify potential risks or delays.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, communication, and execution.
  • Assist with quality and compliance processes as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Science, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, defense, or technical projects preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems and production planning processes preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints is a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.


Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident due to ITAR-related requirements.
  • Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to walk the production floor and collaborate with various departments.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
