Job Description

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid New York State Speech-Language Pathology license is required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university
- TSSLD/TSHH certification
- Experience with school settings and student caseloads preferred
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Strong commitment to fostering student progress and independence
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy onsite for students, conducting approximately 10 sessions daily
- Document evaluations, progress, and session notes accurately in accordance with school requirements
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into educational plans
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain compliance with all administrative and documentation protocols
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Serve as a resource for staff and families to promote awareness of speech-language support within the school community
