As an onsite Speech Language Pathologist, you'll work closely with a defined caseload, delivering high-quality therapy while helping students unlock their potential and achieve communication goals.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Valid New York State Speech-Language Pathology license is required
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university
  • TSSLD/TSHH certification
  • Experience with school settings and student caseloads preferred
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Strong commitment to fostering student progress and independence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy onsite for students, conducting approximately 10 sessions daily
  • Document evaluations, progress, and session notes accurately in accordance with school requirements
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into educational plans
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Maintain compliance with all administrative and documentation protocols
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Serve as a resource for staff and families to promote awareness of speech-language support within the school community
