Qualified applicants will possess:

  • A valid New York SLP license and TSSLD certification
  • Clinical Fellow (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) candidates are welcome
  • Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 student populations
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and electronic IEP systems (training provided if needed)
  • Ability to adapt services to varying schools and student needs
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload across multiple school sites
  • Assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and district teams during IEP meetings (admin and indirect hours are paid)
  • Documenting services and progress in accordance with district guidelines
  • Utilizing district resources and available training opportunities to enhance service delivery
  • Participating in virtual interviews and adapting swiftly to onboarding processes

This full-time, 37.5-hour-per-week contract runs from early September through late June, offering you a stable yet flexible way to apply your skills.
