As the sole SLP on this assignment, your expertise will help shape students’ educational journeys, collaborating closely with educators and families. The role is full-time, up to 37.5 hours per week, ensuring you can provide consistent support and foster strong relationships with those you serve.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and ASHA CCC credentialed applicants
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for K-12 students
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy services to students with varying needs in a school setting
- Perform evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting
- Partner with teachers, support staff, and families for holistic student support
- Participate in IEP meetings and related team conferences
