Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience or strong interest in pediatric speech therapy within school environments
- Ability to implement evidence-based practices for assessment and intervention
- Excellent communication and record-keeping abilities
- Collaborative spirit to work effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s unique goals
- Provide direct therapy services for both individual students and small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom activities
- Maintain up-to-date progress notes, prepare documentation for IEP meetings, and participate in case conferences as needed
- Offer guidance and in-service training to school staff regarding speech-language resources and techniques
