Step into a rewarding role making a lasting difference in the lives of K-12 students. This is a contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification. Based near Danbury, CT in the Bridgeport, CT area, this onsite position offers the chance to support students across a diverse caseload. With a full-time schedule of 32.5 hours per week, you'll have the opportunity to work within a collaborative environment that values your expertise and dedication to student growth.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Connecticut SLP License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Prior experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for K-12 students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
  • Stay current with best practices and state guidelines in speech-language pathology
