This is a full-time, onsite contract position within a highly supportive educational environment.
Position Overview
- Status: Full-Time, Onsite
- Schedule: Follows school district calendar (Monday–Friday; weekends, holidays, and school breaks off!)
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensure: Active license - Illinois LBS1, PEL, Special Education Teacher credentials
- Experience: Previous school-based or pediatric experience as a Special Education Teacher is highly preferred., co-teaching experience
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Provide high-quality direct therapy services to eligible students.
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, administrators, and East Texas families.
- Actively participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and maintain compliant, timely documentation.
- Monitor student progress and adjust goals to maximize academic and social success.
