Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Milton, Florida

Qualifications:

• Valid Florida SLP license (required)
• Experience or interest in both pediatric and school-based caseloads
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; clinical fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
• Skilled at collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tools
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Deliver effective, evidence-based therapy in group and one-on-one sessions across K-12
• Document progress and maintain accurate records aligned with school and state guidelines
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams in IEP meetings and provide input for goal-setting
• Educate and collaborate with families and educators to generalize strategies beyond therapy
