Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Communication Disorders or related field from an accredited institution
  • Active Colorado Department of Education certification
  • Valid Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license (acceptable titles include Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist for ages birth through 21)
  • School-based experience and familiarity working with school-aged children highly preferred
  • Successfully complete district-required fingerprinting and background check

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy to students ages birth through 21, focusing on mild to moderate needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to design effective support strategies
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of IEP goals
  • Document progress and maintain thorough, timely clinical records in line with district policies
  • Engage with a dynamic educational team to foster communication growth within students
