Job Description
Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with students in the Denver area starting as soon as possible and continuing through late May 2027. This full-time, school-based contract position offers a chance to support young learners who benefit from your expertise. Qualifications:
- Minimum Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) Certification
- Current Colorado SLP License (or qualifying equivalent: Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist for ages birth through 21)
- Ability to complete a district-specific background check as part of onboarding
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, especially with mild/moderate caseloads
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students across one or more campuses within the district
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain thorough records and contribute to the IEP process
- Participate in team meetings and share expertise to improve student outcomes
