Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, open to Clinical Fellows
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Understanding of IEP processes and data-driven therapy planning
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students with speech, language, or communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs
- Conduct therapy sessions targeting receptive/expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice, or pragmatic skills
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with families and educational staff
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Provide education and support to teachers and caregivers for classroom carryover
