Make a difference this school year supporting students’ communication skills in a dynamic educational environment near New Braunfels, TX. This contract opportunity provides a chance to serve diverse learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist onsite, working with supportive teams across various grade levels from Pre-K through age 18+.
You’ll manage a caseload of approximately 60 students, with assignments thoughtfully matched to your experience and interest—whether it’s early childhood, elementary, middle, high school, or the 18+ program. Expect meaningful collaboration and a school community that values your expertise.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Active SLP license for Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Comfort with a caseload involving PK-12 students, with flexibility to serve across 1-2 campuses
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Dedication to supporting students with varying communication needs via evidence-based interventions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide therapy to students identified with speech and language challenges
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educational teams
- Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with staff and families
- Offer consultation and support services to educators and parents
- Maintain accurate records, data, and documentation according to policy requirements
