Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Texas SLP licensure is required
• Previous experience as a school-based SLP preferred (clinical fellows are not eligible)
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting student assessments and developing individualized therapy plans
• Strong collaboration skills for effective communication with staff, students, and families
• Commitment to timely credentialing documentation, including Texas fingerprinting clearance if not already completed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
• Provide direct therapy services tailored to student needs at Charlotte Anderson Elementary
• Develop, implement, and document individualized service plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress
• Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with state and school guidelines
• Offer consultative support to educators and families to promote positive student outcomes

Role Details & Perks:

• Contract runs from September 1, 2026, through May 20, 2027
• Part-time schedule: 20 hours per week for optimal work-life balance
• Serve as the assigned SLP at a single elementary campus, allowing for deeper relationships with students and staff
• In-person interview required on August 14th to get to know the team and campus environment
