Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ communication and language development in a vibrant, diverse school environment! We’re seeking contract Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) eager to make a meaningful impact at the elementary level. This full-time assignment offers a set schedule of 35 hours across 4–5 days per week, continuing through June 5, 2027.

Your expertise will directly support elementary students, with a focus on early childhood and potential opportunities to work with self-contained classrooms. School-based experience is essential, and exposure to early childhood centers would be a true asset. This role is strictly on-site, providing direct interaction and support to the campus community.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Texas state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (must provide license number and proof of licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required – SLPA or Clinical Fellows (CF) not eligible
  • Prior school-based SLP experience essential
  • Experience in early childhood education highly desired
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain effective records
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student success
  • Provide intervention in early childhood and, when needed, self-contained settings
  • Participate in school meetings, student progress monitoring, and ongoing training
