SANITATION
Automation Personnel Services is looking to hire for a SANITATION position with a company based in Moody, Al.

Work for a food manufacturing company based in Moody, Alabama, USA. The company specializes in producing and packaging: spices and blends.
The Sanitation Employee is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within a large-scale manufacturing facility. This position supports production operations by performing routine cleaning, sanitation of equipment and production areas,
Pay Rate
$17.00-18.50 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6am -2:30pm.

Job Requirements
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, unless reasonable accommodation or approval is provided.
  • Must be able to follow all company policies, safety procedures, and sanitation requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Remove trash and waste from production, warehouse, office, and restroom areas.
  • Clean and sanitize floors, equipment, machinery, bathrooms, and employee break/rest areas.
  • Perform daily sanitation tasks and complete required sanitation checklists.
  • Complete monthly sanitation duties in accordance with the Master Cleaning Schedule.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Operate floor scrubbing equipment safely and effectively.
  • Clean production equipment and machinery according to established SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Operate a forklift as required and in compliance with safety guidelines.
  • Clean warehouse areas, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Maintain the exterior of the facility, including removing trash and debris from surrounding grounds.
  • Complete and maintain accurate daily and weekly cleaning documentation.
  • Follow all Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs) and Good Hygiene Practices.
  • Support and maintain a strong Food Safety culture throughout the facility.
  • Communicate food safety concerns, sanitation issues, and improvement opportunities to management promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work safely around cleaning chemicals, sanitation equipment, and manufacturing machinery.
Work Environment
  • Manufacturing, warehouse, office, and outdoor environments.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals, varying temperatures, and production equipment.
  • Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols.
Job Type
Full-time, temporary to hire
