Job Description

Work exclusively onsite, providing essential speech therapy and evaluations for school-age children in a collaborative setting. Multiple positions are available with immediate start dates, extending through late May 2027.
This role features a manageable caseload, ensuring your expertise can shine while fostering genuine connections with students. Depending on the assignment, you may work at a single campus or across a small cluster of schools, never exceeding a caseload of 60 students.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Alabama ASHA certification required
- Alabama Educator SLP Certificate required (may start with certification pending; license lookup is available online through Alabama’s certification portal)
- Experience providing both therapy and evaluations within a school or pediatric setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in elementary and secondary school environments
- Conduct evaluations and reevaluations using standardized assessment tools
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with all relevant guidelines
