Step into an exciting opportunity supporting students’ communication and learning as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist within a dynamic school environment near Bothell, WA. Beginning August 12, 2026, and running through mid-June 2027, this position offers the flexibility of part-time hours—8 hours per week—enabling you to make a meaningful difference for children and adolescents while maintaining work-life balance.

As an integral part of the school’s support team, you’ll apply your expertise across a spectrum of settings. You’ll have the chance to work with both in-person and teletherapy modalities, contributing to students’ progress whether on campus or remotely. Details regarding specific caseloads and age ranges will be determined and provided prior to assignment.

What we’re looking for:

  • Valid VA SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or SLP-CFY candidates encouraged to apply
  • Professional background in pediatric speech-language therapy, preferably with school-based or healthcare experience
  • Comfort with teletherapy platforms and digital record-keeping
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills, working effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver engaging assessments, therapy sessions, and ongoing screenings to students as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to create individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation as required by the school and licensure
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing valuable clinical input to support exceptional student outcomes
  • Adjust and refine interventions as needed, leveraging both traditional and digital resources
