Job Description

This position offers the chance to work within a collaborative school environment, providing speech and language services to young learners in the ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) 3-5 age range. The assignment runs approximately from September 7th, 2026, through November 30th, 2026, allowing you to dedicate your expertise for a 12-week period.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota SLP license (required for consideration)
- SLP-CCC credentials preferred
- Prior experience providing SLP services in a school setting
- Comfort and background working with children ages 3-5, especially in an early childhood or ECSE program
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Ability to effectively manage and deliver services to a diverse early childhood caseload
- Submission of resume required for candidate presentation
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students enrolled in the ECSE 3-5 program
- Provide direct and consultative services in alignment with each child’s IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service staff to optimize student communication growth
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in team meetings as needed
- Adapt interventions to support a positive and inclusive learning environment
