Apartment Painter

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Apartment Painter / Maintenance Technician to join our team at a residential apartment community in Coram, NY. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality paint work while assisting with general maintenance and apartment turnovers. The successful candidate will help ensure apartments are move-in ready and the community is maintained to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for new residents by patching, sanding, priming, and painting walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and common areas.
• Perform apartment turnovers, including light repairs and punch list items.
• Repair drywall, spackle holes, and match paint finishes.
• Complete basic maintenance tasks including plumbing repairs, fixture replacements, carpentry, appliance repairs, and general handyman work.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests as assigned.
• Assist with preventative maintenance throughout the community.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and properly care for tools and equipment.
• Work with the maintenance team to ensure vacant apartments are completed on schedule.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a professional appearance when interacting with residents.

Salary: $24.00/hr - $27.00/hr
