Hiring: General Manager
Location: Prattville, AL
Pay: $60,000–$65,000/year
+ Bonus Potential.

Job Summary:

The General Manager contributes to the success of McAlister’s through the direction and control of restaurant operations to ensure a positive guest experience and company profitability. The General Manager’s responsibility is to direct the operation of the restaurant, attain sales and profit objectives, maintain the highest standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, safety and sanitation by directing and supervising managers and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Directing all daily restaurant operations, including front and back-of-house, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Financial Performance: Achieving sales and profit objectives, managing food/labor costs, and handling inventory.
• Guest Experience: Maintaining high standards of service, quality, cleanliness, and safety (the "McAlister's Touch").
• Team Development: Recruiting, training, supervising, and mentoring team members.
• Administrative: Handling scheduling, ordering, and daily reporting.

Requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of current experience in a fast-paced, casual dining restaurant environment.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and multi-tasking skills.
• Certifications: SERV Safe certification preferred.
• Physical: Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Background & Driving Requirements: Candidates must be able to successfully pass required background and drug screening. A current, valid driver’s license and a good driving record are also required.
