What You'll Do
- Lead sheet metal foremen, crews, and subcontractors.
- Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and daily/weekly work.
- Oversee commercial and industrial HVAC ductwork installation.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate installation with mechanical, electrical, structural, controls, and other trades.
- Coordinate fabrication and material deliveries with field installation.
- Identify and resolve field conflicts, RFIs, and constructability issues.
- Monitor labor productivity, quality, safety, and project schedules.
- Partner with Project Managers on field progress, manpower needs, and project concerns.
- Drive punch-list completion, turnover, and project closeout.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC sheet metal experience.
- 2+ years in a Superintendent, General Foreman, Foreman, or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC ductwork and sheet metal installation.
- Experience leading crews and planning field manpower.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong understanding of construction safety and OSHA requirements.
- Strong field leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to assigned project sites.
Preferred
- OSHA 30 certification
- Large commercial or industrial HVAC project experience
- Data center, mission-critical, or healthcare construction experience
- Bluebeam, Procore, BIM/VDC, or similar construction technology
- Experience coordinating fabrication/prefabrication with field installation
