Painting Contractor

The Painting Contractor will primarily handle small residential painting projects, working both independently and in small teams. This role involves travel to client sites on a regular and occasional basis to ensure project completion. The contractor will utilize standard painting tools and materials to deliver high-quality surface preparation, painting application, and drywall finishing services while maintaining strong customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including drywall patching and finishing
• Apply paint using various techniques and ensure accurate color matching
• Maintain strict quality control throughout each project
• Interact professionally with customers and address their needs
• Conduct regular maintenance of painting equipment
• Travel regularly to client sites for project execution

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in painting and decorating
• Contractor license
• Proficient in surface preparation and painting techniques
• Experience with project management and customer communication
• Knowledge of drywall and drywall finishing
