Auto Body Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicle bodies and frames. You will ensure all repairs meet factory safety and quality specifications while helping our shop maintain efficient turnaround times.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Structural Repairs: Use frame machines and or portable measuring systems to realign damaged unibody structures and vehicle chassis.
• Replace Components: Remove and replace damaged body panels, bumpers, fenders, grilles, and trim parts.
• Restore Surfaces: Grind, sand, file, and apply body filler to smooth out dents, depressions, and repaired areas for painting.
• Welding and Joining: Perform MIG and spot welding to securely install replacement structural and cosmetic parts.
• Diagnose Hidden Damage: Review estimates and examine vehicles to identify additional mechanical or structural damage.
• Maintain Safety: Adhere to all shop safety protocols, including correct disposal of hazardous materials and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of hands-on collision repair experience in a professional shop environment.
