About the Role:
J H Metal Finishing is looking for a motivated and hardworking Factory General Help team member to join our production floor in New Britain, CT. Responsibilities:
- Assist with general production tasks on the factory floor to support daily manufacturing operations
- Load and unload parts and materials for metal finishing processes
- Support finishing technicians with plating, coating, or surface treatment operations
- Inspect finished parts for quality and ensure they meet production standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety guidelines
- Move materials and finished goods throughout the facility using proper handling techniques
- Follow supervisor instructions and contribute to a team-oriented production environment
Requirements:
- Prior manufacturing, factory, or warehouse experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Comfortable working in an industrial environment with exposure to chemicals and machinery
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to showing up and contributing every shift
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
- Strong work ethic with a team-first attitude
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
