Fabrication and Painter Apprentice

Fabrication

Prepare and operate welders, drills, saws, and other hand and electric tools.

MIG weld aluminum

Prepare and load raw materials on to racks, machines and work tables

Cut, shape, join and finish materials to make signs, other products and misc. items

Assemble parts by lining up and joining by welding, bolting, or taping or glueing

Finish products by cleaning, polishing, filing, sanding

Distribution of products and materials to proper departments

Manage the flow of product through department

Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations

Maintain tools and equipment

Keep work area clean for daily use

Seek daily work and work center attendance

Manage long term and short term work assignments
