Assistant manager

Position Type: Part-Time (4-5 days per week, shifts are 5-7hrs long)

Pay: $16-$18/hour (based on experience)

Position Overview:

We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Assistant Manager to help keep daily operations running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in organization, values cleanliness, and can confidently handle responsibilities independently while helping lead the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the shop is clean, organized, and up to our standards at all times
• Provide friendly, efficient, and high-quality customer service
• Open and/or close the shop as needed
• Accurately handle cash and card transactions
• Manage and fulfill delivery orders independently
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and daily prep
• Help enforce company policies, food safety standards, and daily procedures
• Keep staff on task and help maintain a productive, positive work environment
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are continuously followed

What We're Looking For:

• Reliable and consistently on time (non-negotiable)
• Strong attention to detail, especially with cleaning and organization
• Leadership skills and confidence holding staff accountable
• Friendly, customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Comfortable handling busy shifts and multitasking
• Previous food service or leadership experience preferred (but not required)
