Industrial Operations Manager

We're seeking an experienced Processing Operations Manager to lead our receiving and processing operations. You'll direct daily production, manage a team, control inventory, and drive continuous improvement — all while ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

What you'll do20

• Ensure safe work practices, equipment, and documentation in line with OSHA and corporate safety policies
• Develop safety SOPs and make sure staff receive timely safety and operational training
• Direct, schedule, and coordinate equipment and personnel for daily processing, positioning, and loading
• Maintain an efficient layout plan for processing and shipping, including storage and equipment locations
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost quality, profitability, and safety
• Inspect department equipment and submit work orders and purchase orders as needed
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct monthly physical inventory audits
• Supervise, schedule, and review the performance of department staff
• Interview candidates and partner with HR on job descriptions and policy compliance (including union contracts, where applicable)

What you'll bring

• Strong knowledge of material grading and quality standards
• Good judgment, organizational, and communication skills
• Supervisory experience
• Valid driver's license

Working conditions
Based in an active industrial yard with uneven surfaces and occasional exposure to inclement weather. Requires walking and climbing throughout the operation. Work pressure can be substantial during peak times, requiring adaptability to shifting schedules and workflow.
