Job Description
Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, post-surgical, and sports-related conditions in an outpatient setting
· Provide one-on-one, patient-centered care tailored to each patient's goals and functional demands
· Perform skilled manual therapy techniques and utilize dry needling as appropriate within the plan of care
· Design and progress individualized strengthening and conditioning programs based on patient presentation, goals, functional demands, and tissue healing timelines
· Treat and rehabilitate athletes of all ages, active adults, and recreational and competitive weightlifters
· Incorporate strength and conditioning principles to bridge the gap between traditional rehabilitation and full return to sport or performance
· Provide patient education regarding injury prevention, exercise progression, recovery, and long-term wellness
· Collaborate with physicians, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
· Maintain a high standard of clinical care, professionalism, and patient experience
· Stay current with evidence-based orthopedic and sports physical therapy practices and continuing education
What We're Looking For
· Licensed Physical Therapist in Illinois in good standing, or eligible for licensure
· 1–2+ years of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience preferred
· Experience integrating dry needling into patient treatment plans
· Strong background in manual therapy and joint/spinal manipulation techniques
· Experience treating athletes, active adults, and recreational or competitive weightlifters
· Strong understanding of strength and conditioning principles as they relate to rehabilitation
· Ability to appropriately progress strengthening programs based on patient presentation, goals, and tissue healing timelines
· Strong clinical reasoning skills, particularly in return-to-sport and return-to-performance rehabilitation
· Ability to work independently, manage a caseload confidently, and take initiative
· Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and creating a positive patient experience
