The HVAC Technician will specialize in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial HVAC systems. This role requires proficiency in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and system testing, with an emphasis on safety compliance and customer service. The technician will work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, utilizing standard HVAC tools and equipment while traveling in a take-home van to various job sites.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings
- Perform routine maintenance and equipment calibration
- Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues promptly
- Troubleshoot system malfunctions using standard HVAC tools
- Conduct system testing and verify operational safety
- Ensure safety compliance in all work activities
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years in HVAC maintenance experience
- EPA Section 608 Certification
- Expertise in HVAC system diagnostics and refrigeration cycles
- Knowledge of electrical systems related to HVAC
- Strong preventive maintenance and troubleshooting skills
- Exceptional customer service abilities
