Electrician - Commercial Construction Foreman This is a hand-on working foreman position Ray and Son Heating and Cooling | Valdosta, GALocally owned and operated since 1965We are a full-service commercial mechanical contractor serving Nashville, Valdosta and the surrounding areas with HVAC and plumbing services for residential homeowners and commercial businesses.Our TEAM is very dedicated to what they do and are in it "for the long haul." The average employee has 10 or more years of service with our company.What We Provide:Take Home Vehicle + Gas CardCompany Cell Phone and iPadCompany UniformLocally owned and operatedDealer training with CarrierTraining for industry specific certificationsBenefits: Medical Insurance 60% paid for employeeVision & Dental insuranceOther supplemental insurance options2 Weeks (80 hours) Paid Vacation3 personal / sick days (24 hours)6 Paid Holidays401K + company matchPay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experienceWork Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pmWhat You'll Be Doing: New Construction electrical - small to medium commercial buildings, retail stores, warehouse etc.Overseeing a new construction crew or helperRun wires and cablesRead, interpret, and execute drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical code specifications to see layout of commercial electrical equipment installationsTest electrical and equipment and parts for continuity, current, voltage, and resistanceInstall, repair, or replace AC/DC motors and drives, transformers, motors, starters, relays, and hydraulic and gas electrical controlsInstall repairs, or replace electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic, and line assemblies, lighting, and alternative electrical partsInstall and replace generatorsInstall electrical circuits, as well as panels, conduit, protecting devices, switches, and equipment required to accommodate the CEC and/or NECWhat We Are Looking For: 5 + years of Commercial Electrical experienceForeman / job lead experienceJourneyman or Master Electrical License PreferredAble to read and work off of electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprintsMust be willing to wear and follow all rules regarding PPEColor Vision: Electricians work with colored wiring and must be able to identify them by sightAble to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writingValid driver's license and insurable driving recordCandidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
