Traveling Phlebotomist

Express Healthcare is seeking Traveling Phlebotomist in Oklahoma City, OK for Mon- Friday 8am-5pm and or 9am-4pm

Pay rate $20-22hr. ( including drive time)$.37 a mile for mileage reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities-

• Travel to assigned patient locations within designated service areas to perform specimen collection.
• Verify patient identity and accurately label specimens according to established protocols.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures on patients of all ages.
• Process, package, and prepare specimens for transport to designated laboratories.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including requisitions, collection logs, and electronic records.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and company policies.
• Maintain inventory of collection supplies and notify management of replenishment needs.
• Communicate professionally with patients, caregivers, facility staff, and laboratory personnel.
• Adhere to scheduled appointments and promptly report delays, cancellations, or patient concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of collection equipment and work materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Current Phlebotomy Certification

• 1 year experience, with 25-30 sticks a day

• Reliable transportation

• Flexibile schedule

• Current BLS

• Current TB
