Hotel Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
We're looking for a courteous, detail-oriented maintenance engineer to provide our guests with a five-star experience. You'll be in charge of overseeing the property’s overall upkeep and carrying out routine processes to make it fully functional, pleasurable, and safe. Compensation:$18 - $20 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Follow all engineering safety rules and regulations
- Stay in constant contact with co-workers, managers, and other departments
- Take care of guest complaints regarding building maintenance and troubleshoot issues
- Tend to all of the hotel's equipment and conduct preventive maintenance routines
- Respond to emergencies that occur outside of regular working hours
Qualifications:
- The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required
- Applicants must have 2-4 years of experience in maintenance
- A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required
- Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred
- Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are needed
