E&I Technician

HiFyve is hiring an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician in the manufacturing industry in McArthur, OH!

Salary: Up to $37.50/hour, with the opportunity to earn up to $40.00/hour within 90 days

Shift: DuPont Schedule (Extended stretches of consecutive days off)

Location: McArthur, OH

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and systems up to 480V.
• Diagnose electrical faults using multimeters, ohm meters, and other electrical diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on motors, drives, motor control centers (MCCs), and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair variable frequency drives (VFDs) and motor control circuits.
• Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial instrumentation.
• Perform loop checks, instrument calibrations, and verification of control system functionality.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, sensors, transmitters, and automated equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, loop drawings, technical manuals, and ladder logic.
• Complete additional electrical, instrumentation, and maintenance duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician, Controls Technician, Automation Technician, or in a similar industrial role.
• Hands-on experience with industrial PLCs, HMIs, sensors, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols and robotics is preferred.
