Hire Type: Contract to hire
Shift : 2nd shift
Compensation: $25-34/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve industrial production equipment and facility systems.
This is a hands-on position consisting of approximately 70% electrical and 30% mechanical work. The technician will troubleshoot equipment with minimal supervision, perform preventive maintenance, support equipment upgrades, and help maintain a safe and reliable production environment.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair industrial production equipment while minimizing downtime.
  • Troubleshoot machine control circuits, PLCs, sensors, switches, relays, fuses, and indicators.
  • Repair and maintain AC/DC motors, servo motors, stepper motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, grinders, and punch presses.
  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, diagrams, and machine documentation.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and reliably.
  • Complete work orders accurately and document maintenance activities.
  • Work with Production, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance or electro-mechanical experience.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery and machine control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, including IEEE and IEC standards.
  • Experience with PLCs, sensors, motors, relays, switches, and control circuits.
  • Experience with AC/DC, servo, and stepper motors.
